Solar facade for sports infrastructure
Munich, Germany48.1351° N · 11.5820° E
187 kWp integrated facade · IEC 61215 + EN 50583 certified · 9-month deployment.

The challenge
Problem
A municipal sports complex needed to meet Bavaria's renewable energy mandate without compromising the architect's vision for a unified, monolithic facade. Conventional rooftop PV was ruled out due to limited roof area and shading from neighbouring structures.
Our role
Solution
Stillpage led technology selection across five candidate suppliers, ran independent shading and yield modelling, and coordinated certification with TÜV. We oversaw installer training and on-site commissioning, delivering a fully integrated south- and west-facing facade in 9 months from contract signing.
